Trying to think of something fun to do on this snow day? Westfield has three sledding hills around town, all open from dawn til dusk. So get out your snow pants, snow boots, jackets, gloves, hats, scarves, hand warmers, thermos of hot cocoa…lets see…what else? oh yeah… sleds….and head out for some sledding fun!
Simon Moon Park 2710 East 171st Street connects to the Midland Trace Trail, which will eventually extend to Noblesville, Grand Junction and the Monon Trail.
Centennial sledding hill located in the center of Centennial subdivision just south of 151st off Springmill Rd. Turn into subdivision and drive straight back (past church).
Cool Creek Park and Nature Center 2000 East 151st street (located just east of Westfield Fire Station) Cool Creek has a great sledding hill, trails, and a Nature Center open from 10 am to 5 pm. Nature Center is great for kids… full of exhibits, games, scavenger hunts, and a free craft every day! And most importantly…restrooms!
Have a great (snow) day!!
