Holiday fun in Westfield

Looking for some fun things to do around town this holiday season?

Cool Creek Nature Center  2000 East 151st Street  This park based natural science center offers seasonal exhibits on habitat preservation and local wildlife.  visit  for hours and more info on  Winter Break Programs, such as

10th Annual Race to the New Year  A 5K walk/run through Cool Creek Park on December 27th at 9:30 am.  $25 adult, $15 children 15 and under.   Call 317-574-1074 or visit for info and to register.  

Westfield Parks and Recreation offers programs from pre-school age through senior citizens.  Arts and crafts, sports, acting, bingo, jazzercise….  visit for the full list of classes offered.

Westfield Library hosts several clubs including euchre, Mystery Book Club,     Geneology Club, Book discussions and Teen Advisory Club.  For days and times visit

Other family fun ideas….Arctic Zone ice skating, Regal Cinema movie theatre, sleddingDowntown Westfield to shop, dine and admire the lights, and Simon Moon Park sledding hill (at 2710 East 171st) if we get snow!
